You are going to relax in nature, with tents, by the reservoir. Planning, a list of things to take with you. What if you add a fishing rod to this list?
Lake, fishing rod, fishing, fish - it is quite a logical set, but what if you have never fished?
Besides, you have no gear. Because of one trip, I don't want to run to a fishing store at all.
For the first time, a rod can be borrowed or rented, and you can learn some proven fishing tips that always work.
Fishing with a float
A few days, by a lake or a river, surrounded by good company, will recharge you for a long time. If such a rest is combined with successful fishing, then there will be many times more positive memories.
You are going to fish for the first time, and you can already see yourself sitting on the shore and looking at the float. So that all this does not turn into a simple meditation, you need to get to know the reservoir and its inhabitants better.
Now any information can be gleaned from the Internet or ask for advice from familiar fishermen. For example, what kind of fish is found in a particular reservoir, what it bites, at what time.
The easiest option is to dig up earthworms and take them with you. Not all water, you can find worms. Put them in a jar, pour some of the earth from which they were dug into it. In such conditions, they will live long enough, the main thing is that air flows in, and it is relatively humid.

And this is already like a real hunt, which implies the study of the flood of predatory fish, because spinning fishing is catching predators. As mentioned above, a spinning rod differs from a feeder rod in that it has fewer guides and more elasticity.
The main point of spinning fishing is to cast an artificial bait instead of the intended location of the fish and guide it through the layers of water. During the movement, the bait imitates the behavior of a sick fish and provokes the predator to attack.
Before picking up tackle for fishing from the shore, you need to decide for yourself on which reservoir you will use it. If it is a small pond, lake or small river, then it is best to use a small and light rod, the weight of the bait should not exceed 5-10g.
For fishing on a large reservoir or river, where it is supposed to catch large fish, the rods should be chosen heavier, and the weight of the lures should be about 10 - 20 g, but this already depends on the depth and distance of casting.
Spinning reels can be equipped with three types of reels: inertial reels - they are already in the past, but they are used, except for fly fishing. Inertia-free is the best option for a beginner spinning player, although experienced fishermen have been using them for many years. Multiplier - designed for fishing with very light lures or, on the contrary, too heavy, if you fish by trolling. This is not the best option for a beginner.

Well, a little about baits. There are an incredibly huge number of them, but they are all divided into:
- spinning and oscillating spinners;
- silicone twisters and vibrotails;
- wobblers, as a rule, are made of plastic with a blade in the front part, for deepening when moving.
In addition, baits differ in weight and purpose, for one or another fish.
To understand and feel the essence of this type of fishing, start by hunting for perch, which can be found in almost any body of water. Well, then move on to pike and other predatory fish.
When you get high on what you do, everything always works out for you, and if it doesn't work out very well, then this is also temporary. Happy fishing!
