On the sidelines of life: people of a lost generation

We are often called the lost generation and prefer not to be noticed, although we are the majority in this country. We live the most ordinary life, but we have absolutely nothing: opportunities, prospects, hopes and future. We are people from the outskirts of life, small villages, small towns, factory districts or dormitory areas of megacities. We are all on the sidelines of life, because all these stories about fame, loot, success, yachts, villas and bohemian life are not about us. We are lost in this world, and also turned out to be of no use to anyone.

Somehow imperceptibly there was a division of people into two fronts. The first group of people is a kind of modern advanced person who is on the way to success, self-improvement, fame, dough and a luxurious life. A kind of cool dude trying to achieve Olympus success, recognition and welfare.

We see them on TV, in pictures on the Internet, and everyone seems to want to be like them. They make films about them, write articles and people talk about them. Their example is poked in our faces in every advertisement and even in the very last nasty rag.

But there is another group of people about which they say almost nothing and write even less often. We are the ones who are rarely shown on TV, and if we find ourselves, then only in the news or crime chronicles. We are people from the edge of life or people of a lost generation who live somehow and are not needed by anyone. We have absolutely no opportunities, prospects, hopes and a future, as if we were thrown to the sidelines of life. But we are, although they stubbornly try not to notice us.
