We all love to dream as children, but as we age we try to limit our flight of fantasy. But forbidding yourself to dream is wrong. Dreams can have a positive effect on our lives if we direct them in the right direction. Why is it useful and right to dream? Dreams can change lives for the better and make us happy. What is the right way to dream so that dreams come true?
As children, we carelessly gave ourselves over to dreams and fantasies when imagining our future. We dreamed about anything, and our imagination, ideas and fantasies were not limited. We believed in a happy, interesting, rich and wonderful future. We had a knee-deep sea, and there were no worthy obstacles. We believed that we could achieve any of our goals and make our dreams come true. Were we naive or brave?
When we grow up, we begin to descend from heaven to earth. This is usually done by parents, acquaintances and life itself. We begin to dream more carefully, to fantasize less and to set goals more modestly. Gradually, we chop off our own wings, preferring the tit in our hands. We believe that idealists and dreamers have no place on this planet. The crane soars temptingly in the sky, but it is almost impossible to catch it, especially if you do not apply extra effort. Dreaming is dangerous, because the risks are very high and the likelihood that bitter disappointment will come. Therefore, we forbid ourselves to dream.
Is dreaming good or bad?
Man-dreamer - this expression has a negative connotation, and this is usually the name for people looking at the world through rose-colored glasses. When dreams are divorced from reality, when we lose the boundary of what is happening, when we set unattainable goals, when we immerse ourselves in an invented world. In such a situation, you should stop. And such moments you understand that you have fantasized too much and wildly. You allowed to cross that fine line when fantasies only interfere with living and moving forward. Dreaming in rosy eyes is wrong and dangerous.
With age, we often try to stop ourselves at the moment when we begin to dream and soar in the clouds. But by overly limiting ourselves, we deprive ourselves of the chance for the best. We are afraid to take on something new, achieve goals, set high standards.
Dreams help more in achieving goals than they hinder. When we think about something good, we begin to strive for it and grow. Dreams can come true or not come true with a 50/50 probability. If a person wants something very badly, he starts looking for suitable options, trying something new, grabbing chances and creating opportunities. Dreams pair with goals, making them more real and possible.
Is dreaming good or bad? Dreaming is not harmful, but it is harmful not to dream. Don't be afraid to dream. The eyes are always afraid, but the hands are doing. In the early stages of a dream, many people dismiss them. These are all dreams, fantasy and bliss. But if dreams are considered on a par with real rails and plans? Why not give it a try? What will happen? But what if?
What is the right way to dream so that dreams come true?
"If you can imagine it, you can do it." Walt Disney Productions Founder Walt Disney
It is important to be able to dream so that dreams come true. What should you consider when you are going to dream and fantasize? What is the right way to dream and set goals?
- Develop your plan. How can you achieve a dream and what will you do to make it come true? What actions, events and efforts are needed?
- Set an approximate timeframe. Do it in a day, week, month, year or five years? Break the plan down into time intervals.
- Identify costs and types of effort. What to do, what to teach, what to do, and how to prepare? Who can give advice? Where to find like-minded people? Where can I learn and get help? How to organize the movement towards a dream?
- Think about financial and resource costs. How much resources will you need to spend on training, meeting goals, and completing tasks? It is better to double the planned spending so as not to be mistaken.
- Calculate the possible risks. Imagine the worst-case scenario and the best-case scenario. What happens if you don't achieve your dream? Make a table of pros and cons. But if you act, then there are fairly high chances of achieving your dream. Why not take a chance?
Why is it good to dream?
1. Dreams become goals
When we start dreaming, we no longer perceive dreams as an empty fantasy, but as a real and achievable goal. We make a certain point or direction with a dream, where we then move. Without goals, you cannot make plans, and therefore achieve what you want.
2. Dreams provide opportunities
In the process of dreaming, our potential is released, and we begin to use hidden opportunities. Dreams allow you to open those doors and loopholes that were previously closed. Dreams allow us to see opportunities where others pass by.
3. Dreams are good for motivation
Dreams always help us feel better, more pleasant, and happier. We seem to have already received what we want, and therefore we feel a surge of motivation and inspiration. Dreams give us strength, energy and belief in success.
4. Dreams are taught to work
Dreams give an understanding that a lot can be achieved with hard work. It becomes more pleasant for us to work when we imagine a dream. Remember that a dream is not so much a goal as a path to it. Work, work and work again. A dream gives you the opportunity to love your job and your life path.
5. Dreams inspire
A dream inspires a person, giving him inspiration to fight for goals. An uplifted and positive mood is good for us. We are energetic, enthusiastic and productive.
6. Dreams teach self-assessment and experience
Trying to realize a dream and facing failure will be an experience for us. Better to try and fail than never try. We better understand the structure of the world, sweep aside non-working methods and gain valuable experience. Dreams allow you to step forward and get burned, but then try again. Dreams teach not to be afraid to try, but to be afraid not to try.
7. Dreams help in difficult times
In moments of sadness, grief and depression, we think that we have a dream. She is like a guiding star that supports us, burning brightly in the sky. A dream will give strength to continue on the path when it's hard and difficult.
8. Dreams temper
Dreamers try more often, make mistakes more often, try again more often, and win more often. Real dreamed not as weak people as many think. They know how to achieve and steadfastly endure the blows of fate. Dreams temper, teach to fight and teach to run.
9. Dreams push you to action
When you dream, you begin to passionately think about embodiment in reality. You already get itching to sit quietly on the couch and do nothing. The dream pushes in the back and now I want to start fighting for it. We have no time to sit when we want to run to the dream as fast as we can.
10. A dream comes true
Not all dreams become reality, then a significant part of them come true. If the dreams are realistic, then the chances of achieving it are pretty high. Take action. Dreams come true if you really want it. This is the beauty of dreams and beauty.
Is dreaming good or bad? Of course good. Dreams tend to come true more often than not. Dream, fight and act.
