You've probably heard about visualization, positive thinking, marathons of desires and other things of varying degrees of delusional things based on such a thing as "the power of the human mind."
I'll tell you honestly: I think it's all mostly nonsense. If you sit on the couch and struggle to imagine a million dollars, it won't fall on your head. Even if you are super-duper-positive and drive away all negative emotions from yourself, a brick can still fall on your top.

The brain, the mind is truly a miracle. This is literally what makes us human. A healthy and developed brain = a happy life.
