Is it difficult to be a father, busy with a career, arrangement and well-being of the family? I missed the process of teaching my son. I didn’t do much with him and rarely gave advice when he absorbed them like a sponge, and then the moment came when it was too late.
He grew up, became influenced by friends, boyfriends, girls and just strangers. He stopped listening to me, but I am able to give advice like no other. I was also young, made hundreds of mistakes that my son could still make, broke my own and other people's hearts, got into trouble and made my way up in life. I am still ashamed to show the diary to my son, although I have achieved more than any of my classmates. But I cannot give advice to my son, without which it will be difficult for him.
I am not alone, millions of fathers miss giving advice in their personal lives to their sons. But there is always a chance, listen to me as your father. Respect other people, strong people respect each other. There is no such person from whom you could not learn something. Treat adults with respect, simply and amicably - with peers, friendly and a little condescending with the younger generation, respectfully - with women, one of them will be the mother of your children.
Work should be satisfying, if it doesn’t, then you’re doing the wrong thing. Think, do you want to go to the hated job all your life? Sometimes your hobby doesn't allow you to feed yourself, but even then, don't let your main job completely supplant it from life. Do not follow the easiest and simplest path and achieve your goal.
In addition to books, you need to study, study a lot. The coolest guys in your school are not the coolest now, they work as drivers, builders. And ordinary, but stubborn guys, not very noticeable at school, became directors, entrepreneurs, businessmen. They earned it with their brains and hard work. Now they have cars, yachts, mansions, and it is they who are now tough guys, real playboys, men, from whom women go crazy.
I am not trying to teach you about life, I would give the same advice to myself to the youngest. You sometimes think that if I had known it would turn out this way, I would have acted differently. So it is here. The old guard wants to be proud of you.
