Scientists are on their way to unraveling two planets that are similar in all respects. Perhaps many millions of years ago, it was the Martians who colonized the Earth and remade it to fit their needs.
"Is there life on Mars, is there life on Mars …". Now scientists claim that there was life on Mars. At least in the form of primitive bacteria found by spacecraft in soil samples on the surface of Mars and in meteorites from the Red Planet found in the ice of Antarctica. And judging by the fact that the "rusty" color of the sands of Mars was the result of exposure to large amounts of oxygen, it can be assumed that billions of years ago there was enough vegetation. But was there intelligent life? Especially on Cosmonautics Day, our journalist talks about this with scientists.
Accidents are not accidental?
According to the theory of probability, this cannot be at all in one solar system, and even on two neighboring planets located in the so-called "belt of life". Earth and Mars have almost the same axis tilt: Earth has 23.4 degrees, Mars has 24.9 degrees. And the tilt of the axis determines the change of seasons on the planet. Earth and Mars rotate in the same direction, and at the same speed. The length of the day is about 24 hours - it differs on the two planets by only 37 minutes, which can be considered insignificant. That is why, when scientists talk about the overpopulation of the Earth and the need for the earliest possible colonization of other planets, Mars is always called a candidate for the role of the Earth colony No. 1. But won't it just be a return home, "to the historical homeland"? Volgograd researcher Mikhail Bobichenko believes that many millions of years ago it was the Martians who colonized the Earth and remade it to fit their needs.
Mikhail Bobichenko, a former long-distance navigator, member of the Russian Geographical Society, and his co-rapporteur, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of General Physics of VGSPU, Sergei Khodykin, made a report recently at a regular meeting of the Volgograd branch of the Russian Geographical Society in Volgograd.
- Now a lot of joyful emotions are caused by the frequent discoveries of planets "like two drops of water similar to the Earth." At the same time, the mother stars of these hypothetical planets themselves are so far away that even in the strongest earthly telescope they seem to be a point source of light, devoid of geometric dimensions, says the former seafarer Mikhail Bobichenko. - But there is a planet very close to us, surprisingly similar to the Earth by the tilt of the axis and the number of hours in a day, the presence of water, etc. This is Mars. To find the intrigue, one must recall the so-called cosmogonic theory of the origin of the solar system. According to the well-established hypothesis proposed by the philosopher Kant, all the planets and the Sun were formed from one gas-dust cloud rotating in space and should rotate approximately in the same plane (Laplace's plane) and in one direction, both around the Sun and around its axes. All planets do this, even the Moon. Only Venus is spinning the other way. Quite surprisingly, Mars is off-axis by as much as 25 degrees from the Laplace plane. But let's put up with this and assume that once the lump of matter that gave birth to Mars and its two satellites experienced an accidental external impact and "went off the rails." But so that another planet accidentally gets exactly the same anomaly! It's totally incredible. If we apply the mathematical apparatus and calculate the probability of such a random coincidence, we will get a decimal fraction with a huge number of zeros after the decimal point.
The navigator Mikhail Bobichenko's interest in this topic began with the fact that for many years he was haunted by a strange squiggle between Antarctica and South America - the Scotia Arc. There are different island arcs on Earth: the Kuril ridge, the Aleutian ridge … But they are all so smooth that they do not raise any questions about their origin. And look at the physical map of the Scotia Arc … How could it be so strange, could it have formed? Bobichenko came to the conclusion that from the impact of an asteroid. The Caribbean Sea is also a clear trail from an asteroid impact. Moreover, a well-known fact: an asteroid fell on the Mexican Yucatan Peninsula, killing the dinosaurs. It seems that this side of the Earth was "bombed" purposefully. His theory is confirmed by the immense depth of the Scotia Sea and the Caribbean Sea and the violation of isostasy revealed at the bottom of these seas, that is, a violation of gravitational equilibrium. Such a violation occurs when the earth's crust in a given area receives additional load relatively suddenly. When he started working on asteroids, he noticed that the orbital data of Earth and Mars are remarkably similar.
Indeed, in comparison with other planets of the solar system, the Earth and Mars rotate very "quickly" around their axis, which ensures a short duration of the day. While Mercury revolves around its axis in 59 Earth days, and Venus - in 243. Venus also revolves in the opposite direction. And the angle of inclination of the terrestrial planets in our corner of the galaxy is no more than four degrees, which excludes the change of seasons on planets other than Earth and Mars.
When recently research vehicles discovered frozen water on Mars and places in the equatorial belt of the planet where the temperature warms up to 0 degrees Celsius, it became finally clear that it was worth artificially creating an atmosphere suitable for humans there, and it is quite possible to live on Mars.
But how could two such anomalies of a planetary scale “accidentally” appear side by side in the same solar system?
- Someone's hand can be traced, - Mikhail Bobichenko is sure. - Those who believe in God will say - God's plan, perhaps for the sake of the future salvation of mankind. There is another version: the Martians, feeling an impending ecological or man-made catastrophe, which ultimately ruined life on Mars, began to look for a planet for resettlement. Nothing better than the Earth, of course, was not found. And so that the climate and the length of the day on the planet became optimal for their biological species, they began to adapt the Earth for themselves. To do this, it was only necessary: to change the earth's axis and slightly accelerate the rotation of the Earth, which happened. Now this length of day and the change of seasons are optimal for our species. Perhaps we are all descendants of the Martians? Version three: some "third parties" from deep space looked after two planets in the inhabited belt of the solar system - for settlement or for some kind of biological experiments. To create the desired climate, the orbital parameters were adjusted. But on one of the planets it was not possible to maintain (or create) an acceptable atmosphere.
How to shift the axis of the planet?
How can the axis of the planet be changed? The cheapest way is through directed "bombardment" with asteroids. Theoretically, an asteroid from the asteroid belt in the solar system can be directed to the desired point, like a ballistic rocket, by giving it the desired coordinates.
Now scientists from Russia and the United States are working on how to direct, or rather, redirect asteroids. After all, the safety of the planet depends on whether we learn to defend ourselves against "guests from outer space". The technology has not yet been developed. But, perhaps, the Martians or some "third parties" had such technology.
“At first I thought that one large asteroid, which fell just in the Scotia Sea, was enough,” says Bobichenko. - Falling in the circumpolar region, such a "pebble" simultaneously changes the earth's axis and accelerates the rotation of the planet. But when I went to the scientist, to Sergei Aleksandrovich Khodykin, he with a calculator in his hands immediately proved to me that an asteroid with a diameter of 2000 kilometers is needed to deflect the Earth by at least 10 degrees. And such an asteroid can already split the Earth in two. This means that the inclination of the earth's axis changed gradually, with the help of dozens of comparatively small asteroids.
At the same time, Sergei Khodykin himself, an expert in astrophysics, associate professor of the Department of General Physics of the VGSPU, is far from the idea that someone moved the earth's axis on purpose.
- I have a skeptical attitude towards the so-called aliens. Until sufficiently intelligible, reliable facts of their presence get into the scientific circulation, it is unlikely to change, - said Sergey Khodykin. - As for the anomalous - and, moreover, very similar parameters of the motion of the Earth and Mars, this is certainly an intriguing mystery. It is strange that neither academic science nor ufologists paid enough attention to it. But still, I think that this is - the rarest, almost incredible accident.
Another amazing mystery can be found in the solar system - even closer and more clearly visible. Why are the angular sizes of the Moon and the Sun almost the same? As if someone, having decided to arrange solar eclipses in the most "rational" way, diligently lowered the lunar orbit until the apparent size of the satellite was equal to the solar disk. By the way, because of the ocean tides caused by the attraction of the Moon, the Earth slows down its rotation, and the Moon, on the contrary, accelerates its orbit and moves away from the Earth. Therefore, after millions of years, total solar eclipses will stop, since the lunar disk will become smaller than the solar disk.
