Late in the evening, you come back with your beloved woman who is heavily drunk and a group of youngsters swoops in on you; there are many of them, they are warmed up with alcohol and armed with knives and empty bottles. Once in such a situation, you cannot escape.
A fight is what awaits each of us in our ordinary, everyday life. This is a reality from which you cannot run away and hide with all your desire. You can be a special forces soldier, a karate fighter, a good boxer, but will these skills help you fight off an angry, drug-filled, armed crowd? Does a street fight have any restrictions and "forbidden" techniques? Can you really fend off the crowd of soccer fans armed with bats? Now imagine that late in the evening you come back with your beloved woman heavily drunk and a group of youngsters swoops in on you; there are many of them, they are warmed up with alcohol and armed with knives and empty bottles. Once in such a situation, you will not be able to escape, since you will protect not only your own life, but also the life of your beloved.
Can you survive if you are not properly prepared? And what should you be able to do in order to save yourself and your friends in such a desperate situation?
First of all, you must actively dictate your battle conditions. When you are surrounded, do not follow your opponents' lead, but create your own unique battle pattern and attack them fiercely. Get ahead of them and hit them first! Let the opponents depend on you, not you on them. Therefore, act only offensively, concentrate all your strength and attention on the attack, and attack swiftly. Leading a real street fight, move only in the field of battle, attack and beat the enemy in open positions, without closing into a blind position and without making "clinches". Attack suddenly and try to deceive opponents about the plan and location of your next attack. Always strike as if it were the last blow in your life. Understand, because how quickly, accurately and strongly you hit the enemy depends on whether you will live or not. Always hit one of the three "golden" targets: groin, throat or nose.
A blow to the nose leads to severe tearing, and a fracture of the bridge of the nose can injure the enemy's brain. A blow to the throat shocks the enemy. Even a moderate blow under the Adam's apple causes loss of consciousness. A lashing blow to the carotid artery can cause reflex cardiac arrest. A lash with a relaxed hand or foot in the groin area can lead to unconsciousness or death.
At the moment of striking, imagine vividly how a sharp steel spike or awl flies out of your striking surface before colliding with a target. Even with a weak blow, such a mental image instills fear in your opponent and destroys his energy. Remember: any "energetic" blow must be delivered with a shout of "Ha" and with a mask of rage on your face. At the same time, the cry for a split second should be ahead of your lightning-fast and accurate strike. The cry should be guttural and harsh, and the sound should fly out, as it were, from the bottom of your abdomen. Kung Fu masters scream an opponent down or force him to freeze in place before delivering a neutralizing blow.
Distract opponents with separate defenses and hit them during these moments of distraction. Do not attack closed positions, but retreat and then attack quickly. Attack so that your opponents constantly fall into the void, losing balance and stability. Let's say that the enemy, being close enough to you, is trying to grab you by the hair. Since the enemy is close to you, his position is very stable and his movement belongs to him. The moment the opponent's hand comes close to your head, follow his strength and remove your head, but do not lose stability. When you recoil, the enemy will continue to reach for you and lose stability and support. At this moment, jerk him sharply in the direction where he loses support the fastest, and on the border before his fall, hit him with a blow after blow with the heel to the head, groin or neck.
In a real street fight, never frighten or tease your opponents in vain, so as not to break away from your main task - to win. Do not demonstrate your strength and technique, but prepare for an actual attack. Any demonstration of strikes must be one with the actual attack and constitute one operation with it. Each operation has only the necessary demonstration, so remember: you cannot win by demonstrating alone!
When there are many opponents, then do not undertake any special defenses and closings, but defend yourself with a maneuver, since the legs are the best defenders, and the fists are good for attack. The most important thing: any technique that you are going to use must be worked out, any blow must be "delivered", only then they will be effective. If you nevertheless decide to attack your opponents with kicks, remember: their physical training is necessary - load, stretching, work on plasticity and speed. Only then will your legs become a powerful weapon! In a real fight, kicks are very different from "sports". Although the principles of application are similar, their true meaning is revealed here - the maximum injury rate in the minimum time.
The art of the master is invisible. Therefore, in a street fight, your kick should not be visible. Don't "wire" him! Remember: in any street fight, hitting the lower level is preferred. In any fight, hit the following targets with your feet first - foot lift, lower leg, knee, thigh muscles, groin and bladder. Hit briskly, spontaneously and spend a minimum of time preparing each blow. Hit without a preliminary swing, that is, a pause between the extension of the knee and the main blow should be completely eliminated. Hit with your feet only from a stable position and only along the lower, maximum average, level, "flutter like a butterfly and pity like a snake."
Combine punches and kicks with deceptive, distracting maneuvers. Distraction is an important principle in street fighting. It helps buy time and disguises your intentions. Here are some common but very reliable distractions:
a) demonstration of benevolence and peaceful intentions - the main goal is to lull the enemy's vigilance, gain time and take a position convenient for an attack;
b) drawing attention to an object located to the side or behind the enemy; the main goal is to force the opponent to switch attention and gain time for the reception;
c) false drawing of attention to oneself; the main goal in this case is to force the enemy to take a position convenient for your subsequent attack;
d) due to nervous tension, the opponent's muscles in a real fight are usually enslaved; in order to relax the opponent's muscles and carry out the technique, it is necessary to inflict distracting blows. Pain anywhere in the body causes involuntary shifting of attention and muscle relaxation. Even a short-term relaxation is enough to carry out a technique or strike the opponent's nerve centers.
In order to successfully penetrate the enemy's defense, make all your attacking movements smooth, so that the swing before the blow carries the information of peacefulness, and the face expresses slavish submission. Your every gesture should mask the attack, and your speech should calm the enemy, relax him, lull his vigilance. Before the attack, you should, as it were, flow and float in space, and your blows should be non-amplitude and difficult to notice.
Defending yourself against an enemy armed with a knife, look for emptiness in all his actions. The void will allow you to instantly get close to the enemy and suddenly attack him. Simultaneously with the attack, load the enemy's attention with a cute smile and only after that knock the knife out of his hand. When the enemy attacks you with a knife, you must become elusive for him like air, as if you were a mirage! Let your opponent look for support in you, but you don't give it, then it will be impossible to cut or prick you. Just don't scare the enemy off with your self-confident look! At the beginning of the fight, the attacker should have the impression that it is he who controls the whole situation. And as soon as you feel that your opponent has relaxed a little, sharply, in one leap, attack him so that he does not have time to really understand anything. When starting an attack, do not try to hit several centers at once. It is enough to hit one, but accurately and strongly. Follow the shortest path to victory!
There are three basic tactics in a street fight: eye, speed, and rush.
1. Eye gauge. If you cannot judge everything by eye, then no amount of weight and accurate information about the enemy will help you. Therefore, learn to evaluate everything by eye without error, starting from space and ending with the willful efforts of the enemy. It is important not only to determine the strength of the enemy by eye, but also to be able to assess the situation at a glance. Therefore, learn to act, relying in an extreme situation not only on intuition, but also on the eye.
2. Quickness begins with precision and ends with the combined action of all forces. Strength is assessed not only by determining the mass, but also by determining the ability of the mass to move quickly. Remember: quickness increases strength; whoever attacks earlier and faster is a more skilled fighter, so learn to start a fight earlier than your opponents. When attacking, be able to quickly focus all forces on the point of attack. All your actions must be sudden, surprise is the key to the success of the attack.
3. Onslaught means that the started movement should not be stopped by any enemy blocks, not to mention retreat and reverse movement. Not a stop, not a reverse, but only a continuous striving forward - that is what a real assault onslaught means! Only that street fighter achieves victory, whose energy cannot be broken against any obstacles opposed by the enemy. Whatever is your will to win, so is the onslaught: if you have enough will for only one blow, then you will not be able to resist the crowd.
In a street fight, do not make unnecessary movements. Excessive movements and jumps only show that the fighter is confused and does not know what to do next. Therefore, do not jump in vain for a long time and do not wave your arms through the air, but get ready for a real attack. When preparing for an attack, remember that it can give you many surprises. Be ready for them and calculate:
a) what will be your opponent's defense:
b) how he can answer you;
c) where he will direct his main forces, that is, the second blow from the reserve;
d) what direction to take after that to continue the attack.
When attacking, keep your head straight, somewhat lowered downward, look directly into the eyes of danger, do not bend or blink. If you want to unravel the plans of the enemy, look him directly in the eyes, and if you want to hide your plans from him, do not look him in the eyes. In a street fight, focus all attention on your forces and on your actions, and only the guards of the enemy. - Beware of doing the opposite! Only a coward thinks more about the actions of the enemy than about his own. Therefore, learn to concentrate so much on the conduct of the battle so as not to see or hear anything from the environment: whoever does not know how to do this will be confused and will not know what to do - whether to pose in front of a drunken crowd or go on the attack, everything in his mind will get confused and any fight will end in defeat for him.
The gateway is not a ring, although in the ring, it happens, they kill, bite on the ears and beat in the groin. But still, they get to intensive care after a street fight much more often; than after matches for the title of champion in fighting without rules. In addition, sometimes even karate and kung fu masters, confident in their abilities, but far from the realities of life, become victims of street hooligans. If you, reading these lines, run into violent and stoned children in a dimly lit place who want to "have fun" with you, then remember that working with them according to sports rules will not work.
