Robin Williams was born on July 21, 1951 in Chicago. He studied Political Science at Claremont College and Dramatic Arts at the Juilliard School of Drama. Williams appeared on the comedian Richard Pryor Show, and in 1978 was cast as a cameo appearance on the television series Happy Days. The actor improvised most of the behavior of his character - the alien Mork: a characteristic high and nasal voice, movement and facial expressions. Mork became incredibly popular, and in the same year the sitcom "Mork and Mindy" appeared, in which the alien appeared in the title role.

Four films featuring Robin Williams will be released after his death. These are the films Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb, where he played the revived statue of US President Theodore Roosevelt, Merry Friggin 'Christmas and Boulevard (Boulevard). According to Williams' press attaché, the actor suffered from severe depression before his death. He was 63 years old.
