A few of the most common things you do wrong most often are making love, pumping your abs, soaping up, tying your shoelaces, and more.
People do many things every day, without even thinking about their naturalness and effectiveness. Indeed, millions around the world are doing the same and exactly the same - so why change habits, creating additional difficulties for yourself? If you think in this way, you don't have to read any further, but for everyone else, these little tricks may well be useful. Here are ten common things you do wrong the most.
1. Making love
Of course, the sexual preferences of people are quite diverse, so it would be strange to talk about the “wrongness” of this or that type of intimate relationship. The point is that nature originally prepared people to have sex in a certain position, which is more effective in terms of conceiving offspring than others.
With the development of bipedal locomotion in humans, the physiology of women has changed in such a way that fertilization has become more difficult, so nature had to endow men with a relatively larger genital organ than, for example, in male monkeys. Also, in the course of evolution, the buttocks began to play the role of the most sexually attractive part of the female body. Therefore, looking at a woman from behind awakens a man's sexual instinct and a natural desire to master her, moreover, to do this in the so-called knee-elbow position: it is she who most likely allows conceiving offspring, and also best stimulates the notorious "G-spot" in women.
Despite the validity of these evolutionary changes, the most popular position for making love around the world is "missionary" (probably familiar to everyone) - "face to face" partners can forge closer emotional contact and make intimate affection more diverse.
2. Have children
Women who have gone through childbearing know how painful and difficult this process can sometimes be. Perhaps this is due to the fact that initially childbirth should not take place in a lying position: some scientists believe that such a "fashion" arose during the reign of Louis XIV in France, who loved to watch the birth of children. To make it more convenient for the king to consider an interesting physiological phenomenon in all its details, the court doctors began to lay the women in labor horizontally.
Doctors soon discovered that this position made the process safer and more controlled, albeit more painful for women. The practice was quickly adopted by obstetricians from other countries, and the other poses were gradually forgotten, although, for example, some Egyptian frescoes depict women giving birth, squatting and standing on all fours - in these positions it is easier for the child to leave the mother's womb, since the force of gravity helps him …
3. Styling your hair
As you probably guessed, this point applies mainly to the beautiful half of humanity, although some men take care of their hair as carefully as women, and pay no less attention to their hair.
Hairpin is one of the most common types of female weapons, with which they fight mercilessly for their own beauty. Despite the popularity of hairpins, some women use them incorrectly and place the hairpins with the prongs outward, arguing that they can injure the scalp.
Although there is some truth in this, and fanciful hairpins may well scratch the skin, it is still more effective to fix the hair with the teeth inward: the design of most hairpins is designed precisely for this arrangement.
4. Swing your abdominals
Wanting to have "cubes" on their belly, which are spoken of in numerous commercials of simulators and fitness programs, people sweat for hours in gyms, but often do not achieve the long-awaited effect of "square" abs.
Whether "cubes" turned out or not - physical education in any case has a beneficial effect on the body, but if you still strive to look like an antique statue, you should not only actively strengthen the muscles of the press, but also take care of proper nutrition. There is such an anecdote: “I love my fit athletic body so much and I hate the fat that hides it so much,” this is exactly what we are talking about.
In order for the whole world to admire your ideal abdominal muscles, it is necessary, first of all, to reduce the subcutaneous fat layer in which they "sink", and this will help to make proper nutrition and complex balanced exercises aimed at improving the general condition of the body, and not just one part of it. …
5. Lather up
Many people believe that thick and abundant soap suds can better wash away dirt, but in reality this is not the case - a large amount of suds does not make washing more effective.
The so-called surfactants contained in soaps and detergents reduce the surface tension of the water, due to which dirt and grease are perfectly removed from the skin or dishes. One of the by-products of the action of these substances is the formation of many tiny soap bubbles - thus, the foam arises as a result of the cleaning process and does not in any way indicate its quality.
Many manufacturers use a common misconception about the hygienic properties of foam to enhance the attractiveness of their products: they add substances that increase the foaminess of soaps and cleaning products when used, for example, lauryl sulfate or cocamide DEA.
6. Tie your shoelaces
Most people tie the laces of their boots or sneakers with a "grandmother's" ("woman's"), or, as it is called in the navy, a "salag" knot. This method is not reliable and those who use it much more often than others hear: “Your lace is untied!”. Moreover, many, without realizing it themselves, sometimes tie an incomparably stronger reef knot instead of the "grandmother's" knot, which itself is untied much less often.
The “grandmother's” and the reef knot are very similar, and both consist of two half-knots, only in the case of the reef knot the second half-knot is knitted in the opposite direction to the first, while at the “grandmother's” both half-knots are knitted into one. It can be described in detail as follows: if, after the formation of the first semi-knot and folding one lace into a loop, you wrap it with another lace from above “away from you”, the result will be a “woman's” knot, but when the loop is wrapped from the bottom “towards you,” a reliable reef is tied node.

7. Empty your bowels
Without going into too much physiological details, we can only say that physiologically we are more predisposed to empty the contents of the intestine without pressing the sirloin to the toilet, but squatting.
According to some medical studies, sitting on the toilet distorts the gastrointestinal tract, which increases the risk of hemorrhoids, Crohn's disease (chronic nonspecific inflammation), and even colon cancer.
Human evolution has been going on for millions of years, and toilets acquired their familiar form only about 200 years ago, so our body is still very slow to adapt to their shape. A more “healthy” type of closet can be considered a regular opening at the floor level - as in most toilets that are used in rural areas.
eight. Use public toilets
Probably, many of you are not very fond of public toilets, use them only when absolutely necessary, and at the same time always cover the toilet seat with pieces of toilet paper, which, unfortunately, tend to slide down the toilet when you sit on them.
This is because virtually everyone puts the paper closer to the back of the toilet, while placing it against the front edge of the toilet seat is more likely to avoid slipping. Of course, this will still not be very effective in preventing the contact of the "fifth point" with pathogenic bacteria, but at least it will not force you to rebuild the line of "hygienic defense".
9. Clearing blockages in pipes
Surely, everyone has a plunger in the bathroom, which serves to clear blockages in pipes. Conventional plungers are great for use in kitchen sinks and bathrooms, but many people use plungers to unclog a toilet bowl, which usually takes more time and effort.
Not everyone knows that a special toilet plunger is better suited for a toilet bowl, the design of which ensures a very tight fit of its lower part to the surface of the toilet bowl. Due to this, when the plunger is stretched, a reduced pressure is created inside it, which makes cleaning more effective than a kitchen plunger, which simply pushes air into the pipes. Ideally, every house should have both types of plungers, the main thing is not to confuse them just once.
