The pre-screening took place at the RadaStyle fashion studio (Rubin Plaza shopping center), created this year with the support of the Belarus Fashion Week Organizing Committee. Vitebsk brand "RadaStyle" is familiar to everyone who follows the fashionable life of the country. Repeated participant of the Fashion Week in Belarus, "RadaStyle" is successfully developing and reaching new heights in the Belarusian fashion business. To our mutual regret, this season “RadaStyle” will not appear on the BFW catwalk, but the fact that the Fashion Week project was presented at the fashion studio “RadaStyle” is another evidence of close friendship, trust and respect between “RadaStyle” and BFW.
Fashion professionals helped young designers to prepare collections for the enchanting and bright finale: Galina Yakovlevna Meshkova (associate professor of the Belarusian State Academy of Arts, Ph. D. and beauty "Crystal nymph").
But criticism is much more useful to the participants of the competition. Yanina Goncharova told about the mistakes that many designers made: “The guys tried to create collections in a classic, even glamorous style. Knitwear dictates casual. Most of the participants have unprocessed bottom, edges of essentially feminine things. " Ioannina also reminded young designers that it is best not to overload collections with accessories.
“A designer doesn't have to complain about not having a gold reserve or a rich uncle. Our competition perfectly proves that talent doesn't need a lot of money. First - a good idea, and then - the enterprises will give you everything you need to implement it,”noted Yanina Goncharova.
