British singer and composer Brian Ferry spent two days in Moscow and presented the new album Olympia.
On September 16, on the stage of the Crocus City Hall concert hall, he gave his long-awaited recital, and the day before that he attended the presentation of an exhibition of photographs taken for the cover of his new album. The famous model Kate Moss, a big fan and close friend of the famous musician, became the muse and face of this photo project. The photo exhibition made a great impression on the journalists, and for all comers it will be available at the RuArts gallery from 28 November.
After the presentation of the photo project, Brian Ferry with his friends and their youngest son David went to the Nobu Moscow restaurant, already beloved by many overseas stars. On the spot, the musician admitted that London's Nobu is one of his favorite restaurants in his hometown, as he has long preferred fresh fish and seafood to meat: “I’m so hungry, I couldn’t have a normal lunch all day, the day was very busy. I really love fish and Japanese cuisine and when I am in other countries I go to local Nobu. " While the famous Briton was enjoying Nobu's signature cuisine, no less eminent Russian guests were dining at neighboring tables: composer, performer Igor Nikolaev, TV presenter Andrei Malakhov, businessman Emin Agalarov and his wife Leyla Aliyeva. Being fans of Brian Ferry's work, Igor and Andrey did not miss the chance to meet the artist. Brian was touched by such attention and happily talked to his Russian counterpart and famous TV presenter.
The next day, the artist and his team appeared in front of Russian fans on the stage of Crocus City Hall. The concert began with a cover of the well-known 1993 song "I Put a Spell on You", followed by two hits by Brian "Slave to Love" and "Don`t Stop the Dance". The audience received the British musician very warmly. Almost all the irreplaceable hits that have already entered the treasury of world musical culture were sung in a friendly chorus, and the compositions from the new album were greeted with thunderous applause.
After the Moscow concert, the famous musician left the capital and continued his world tour: ahead of him are performances in Belgrade and Budapest.
