What is required from the starting wire?
In warm areas, it is enough for it to withstand the declared amperage for at least 10-15 seconds, but not gobble up too many volts at the same time - they will be needed by the starter. In addition, we have our own specifics: the insulation (which is now made of plastic, not rubber) must withstand up to forty degrees in the cold, without cracking, and allow the wire to be straightened and rolled back.
