Order makes you live by rules that will sooner or later become outdated and lead to destruction. Chaos is eternal because it avoids all rules.
Joe Weider - Coach of Champions.
A person involuntarily reflects in himself the nature of the world. Raise your head to the starry sky. What do you see? Chaos! Believe me, there is no more order in our inner microcosm.
Scientists call order evil. He makes you live by the rules, which sooner or later will become obsolete and lead to death. Chaos is eternal because it avoids all rules.
Any order presupposes only one way, for that is the order. Chaos harbors a myriad of potential solutions.
At one time, it was not easy to accept this logic even for scientists with their well-known breadth of thinking. What about bodybuilders?
Sometimes I come across letters from readers who accuse me of inconsistency. Like, here you say one thing, and in another case - the exact opposite. Like, here you advise to train often, but here - rarely. Where is the truth?

Take, for example, the number of reps per set. How many reps to do? Many? Few? If you ask the professionals, it turns out that some of them have created their monstrous muscles with low-repetitive strength training, and some with multi-repetitive pumping. Contradiction? No! Science has discovered that muscle increases the duration of a set. For a set to work, it must be at least 40 seconds long. This pattern, as you can imagine, presupposes many equally effective quantitative solutions. By maneuvering the tempo, you can do as many reps as you like in the set. The main thing is that the set fits within the specified time interval.
Now let's get back to the question of how to train - rarely or often? You have to lift a lot of weight not so much with your muscles as with the power of your nerves. Record weight requires the same record mental effort, and there are no exceptions. Our nervous system regenerates much more slowly than our muscles. This means that heavy, low-repetitive workouts simply force you to go to the club rarely. If you are a marathon runner by nature and practice multi-rep training with relatively light weights, you can workout every day.
In short, in our business there is no right or wrong, do not even look. Try all the new techniques that you find in my recommendations. And you will definitely win!
