One of the most famous Belarusian designers, Ivan Aiplatov, thanks to cooperation with the KVN BSU team, and then with Vadim Galygin, earned the title of a merry fellow and a “rebel designer”.

Then there was work with the groups "Lyapis Trubetskoy" and "Leprikonsy", with the Belarusian participant of the Eurovision-2004 contest and many others. Together with Sergei Zverev, he worked in Germany at the Trend Vision hairdressing festival. Ayplatov became a participant in numerous fashion competitions in Minsk, Vitebsk, Kharkov, Odessa and Sochi. Since 2003 she has been presenting her collections at Moscow Fashion Weeks.

However, the most interesting are the more mature collections of recent years. So the hit of the fall-winter 2009-10 collection by Ivan Aiplatov continues to enjoy extraordinary popularity - a stylized bag "Bear" in the form of a mix of a boxing glove and a touching toy. The collection marked a fundamental turning point in the artist's work: a departure from clubwear and a transition to a classic, but more practical style.

No wonder Aiplatov now represents a small group of Russian industrial designers. It is the close cooperation with large clothing manufacturers such as Camelot, Botta and M. REASON that does not allow us to develop our own brand. But colossal employment cannot force the designer to refuse to participate in interesting projects, so one of the last was participation in the filming of Boy George's video, as a stylist, already posted on YouTube.

Among urgent matters, Ivan finds time to meet with old friends, colleagues in the shop and novice designers. At a discussion held at the Art & Image Institute of Reputation Technologies, Ivan Aiplatov commented on the situation with the sale of products of domestic designers. He noted that selling fashionable offers in specialized stores for Russian designers is not quite the right decision. Everyone should be on an equal footing and sell their products on the same trading platforms.

The designer also shared his experience of implementation through a network of designer boutiques in central London. To his surprise, Aiplatov discovered that in the capital of youth fashion, the casual models of his brand were the most popular.
