The phrase “do fitness” involuntarily brings to mind the images of tall and muscular guys.
The phrase "doing fitness" involuntarily brings to mind the images of slender, athletic girls and tall, muscular guys. And there is a desire to become like them - that is, also to do fitness.
But quite often novice "fitnessists" from the first steps make mistakes that arise from ignorance and misunderstanding of some very important things.
So, anyone who has decided to make fitness a part of their life should learn that:
1 - Before you start exercising, you need to clearly define what goal you want to achieve: lose weight, build muscle mass, etc. Moreover, the clearer the goal, the better. For example, instead of the vague “to become slimmer”, you need to decide how many kilograms you want to lose, on the shape of which parts of the body to work on … And you also need to be patient and not wait for miracles after two or three sessions.
2 - The ability to rest, or rather, to get enough sleep is considered very important. To have enough strength for training, you need to sleep at least eight to nine hours a day, and, moreover, observing a clear mode of work and rest. You will have to forget about nightclubs and discos almost every evening, even if it was your favorite pastime. The body needs good rest.
3 - Nutrition. Before starting classes, it is worth gaining theoretical knowledge about the nutrition of the "fitnessist": proteins, fats, carbohydrates, the number of meals, dietary habits before, after and during workouts. It is necessary to learn the meaning of such concepts as: sports supplements, the glycemic index of foods, protein shakes, metabolism … And determine (better with the help of experienced people) how you should eat.

4 - Training. First, it is necessary that an experienced trainer compiles the training course for you. And you will have to follow all his instructions, even if it is very difficult and unpleasant. Secondly, training should be regular - this is the only way to achieve results. If two lessons are missed, consider that you will have to start all over again.
And thirdly - during training, think about them, and not about how you look against the background of "slender and muscular", or what the coach thinks of you as "awkward and sickly" … All this should not you excite!
Focus on yourself, stubbornly go towards the goal - and you will definitely achieve results!
