Ahead is summer, vacation, sea, sun and … the smell of sweat. Ahead is summer, ahead of vacation, ahead of the sea, the sun and … wrinkled, sweaty T-shirts with eternal circles under the armpits, shirts stuck to the backs and shorts salted to all the devil's. The scourge of any hot country, as well as the Moscow metro, is the thick and eerie smell of sweat. Judging by the appearance of tourists, it is useless to fight it. However, this is not always the case. In addition, sweat is not only an unpleasant smell, but also the risk of catching a cold, returning, for example, after a tour on a bus with an air conditioner operating at maximum power.
What exactly is sweat? This is a protective reaction of the body to overheating due to increased physical exertion, external temperature or stress. Sweat is secreted by special glands and, evaporating, cools the surface of the body, protecting the body from overheating. However, not everything is so simple. In the case of acclimatization in a hot country or strenuous physical activity, the body produces sweat, 90% water, which is odorless.

This sweat is secreted by the eccrine glands located throughout the body. In this case, an unpleasant odor can arise only as a result of its processing by microorganisms. Scientists believed that with such sweat, ferromones are also released, attracting the positive attention of persons of the opposite sex. But only not if microorganisms have already got down to business. Here the result will be exactly the opposite.
